Bryce Baringer
New England Patriots Punter
Bryce Baringer is a punter for the New England Patriots. Growing up in Michigan, Baringer stayed in state for college where he played at Michigan State University. During his time with the Spartans, Baringer became one of the most decorated punters in school history, earning All-American honors, Big Ten Punter of the Year, and First-team All-Big Ten recognition in 2022. He set Michigan State and Big Ten records for career punting average and was known for his powerful leg and directional precision.
Baringer entered the NFL when the Patriots selected him in the sixth round (192nd overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. Since joining New England, he has been a key part of the special teams unit. In 2023, he was named the PFWA All-Rookie team, recognizing his immediate impact in his first professional season.
Baringer has also set franchise marks for punt performance, including the highest single-season punting average in Patriots history. Baringer continues to develop as a reliable and dynamic presence in New England’s special teams unit.
