Christian Barmore is a starting defensive tackle for the New England Patriots and a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since entering the NFL, Barmore has established himself as a core piece of the Patriots’ defense, consistently standing out as one of the most powerful and athletic players on the field.
Barmore played college football at the University of Alabama, where he quickly made a name for himself as a dominant force on the defensive line. During his collegiate career, he earned multiple All-American honors, was voted First Team All-SEC, ranked second in the SEC for recorded sacks, became a CFP national champion and was named CFP National Championship Game Defensive MVP.
Selected by the New England Patriots in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Barmore made an immediate impact as a rookie, earning PFWA All-Rookie Team honors. Since then, he has continued to grow into a leader on the team, demonstrating a relentless work ethic with untapped potential.
