Todd Angilly is the official singer for the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League. Todd was born and raised in Warwick, Rhode Island, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in music from Plymouth State University. From there, he continued his vocal training in the opera program at the New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts

In 2017, Todd was working at the SportsDeck in TD Garden when he was asked last minute to sing the national anthem for the Bruins. After longtime anthem singer René Rancourt retired in 2018, the Bruins held an audition for the newly opened position. Out of 600 applications and 52 live auditions, Todd was selected and officially named the Bruins’ national anthem singer in 2019. Since then, Todd has performed the national anthem for all five of Boston’s professional sports teams and performs for most of the Bruins home games.

Outside of music, Todd has a well-established presence in the Massachusetts criminal justice system. He began as a probation officer and now works as director of workforce development at the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security. In 2024, Todd ran as an independent candidate for the Essex County Clerk of Courts.

Todd’s eclectic mix of public service, musical talent, and community engagement has made him a beloved figure to the people of New England.
