2x World Cup Champion
Kristine Lilly is a two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist and one of the most accomplished players in the history of international soccer. Her extraordinary longevity and consistency helped establish the United States Women’s National Team as a global standard for excellence.
Lilly represented the United States for more than two decades, appearing in five World Cups and three Olympic Games. She helped Team USA win World Cup championships in 1991 and 1999, Olympic gold medals in 1996 and 2004, and an Olympic silver medal in 2000. She completed her international career with 354 appearances and 130 goals, becoming the most-capped player in the history of the sport.
Following her retirement, Lilly remained active in soccer through coaching, mentoring and youth development. She co-founded TeamFirst Soccer Academy with former national team colleagues Mia Hamm and Tisha Venturini-Hoch, helping young athletes develop technical skills, confidence and an appreciation for teamwork. She has also served in coaching roles at the collegiate and professional levels.
