Joe Cardona is a two-time Super Bowl champion, veteran NFL long snapper and officer in the United States Navy Reserve. His rare combination of professional football achievement, military service and team leadership has distinguished him throughout his career.

A four-year long snapper at the United States Naval Academy, Cardona was selected by the New England Patriots in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft, becoming only the fourth player drafted primarily as a long snapper. He appeared in 160 regular-season games during 10 seasons with New England and contributed to three consecutive Super Bowl appearances. Cardona helped the Patriots capture championships in Super Bowls LI and LIII and was later named to the organization’s All-Dynasty Team.

Throughout his NFL career, Cardona has continued to fulfill his military responsibilities. He was named a Patriots team captain for the 2024 season and received the NFL’s Salute to Service Award for his commitment to the military community. After leaving New England in 2025, he continued his NFL career and joined the Los Angeles Rams for the 2026 season, earning recognition as the team’s special teams captain.

Cardona brings credibility and firsthand experience to discussions about leadership, service, discipline and performing under pressure. His ability to balance the demands of professional football with a commitment to the Navy makes him an especially compelling speaker for corporate groups, military organizations, schools, leadership programs and community events.
