P.J. Stock
Hockey Analyst & Former NHL Center
P.J. Stock is a former NHL player and veteran hockey broadcaster whose energy, toughness and outgoing personality have made him a recognizable figure among hockey fans in both the United States and Canada. Although undersized by NHL standards, Stock built his career through determination, physical play and a willingness to compete against anyone.
After playing junior hockey and attending St. Francis Xavier University, Stock signed with the New York Rangers as an undrafted free agent in 1997. He went on to play more than 200 NHL games with the Rangers, Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins. Stock became a fan favorite in Boston for his fearless playing style, high-energy presence and commitment to defending his teammates.
Following his retirement in 2004, Stock successfully transitioned into sports media. He hosted sports radio in Montreal and spent nearly a decade as a contributor to Hockey Night in Canada, appearing as a panelist, analyst and co-host. He has also contributed to RDS programming and currently provides analysis for NESN’s Boston Bruins coverage, bringing humor, candor and a former player’s perspective to pregame and postgame broadcasts.
Stock is an engaging choice for corporate events, hockey programs, charitable gatherings, panel discussions, autograph signings and fan experiences. His combination of NHL experience, broadcasting expertise and natural sense of humor allows him to connect easily with audiences and provide an entertaining perspective on teamwork, perseverance and life inside professional hockey.
