One of the most dominant players during his time in the American League, outfielder Jim Rice was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009. The eight-time All-Star and 1978 AL MVP played his entire 16-year career with the Boston Red Sox, who reached the World Series in 1975 and 1986.
