Jim Craig is a former ice hockey goaltender who is best known for being part of the U.S. Olympic hockey team that won the gold medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics. The victory against the heavily favored Soviet Union became commonly known as “The Miracle on Ice” which inspired the 1981 movie of the same name. Craig had a short career in the NHL, playing for the Atlanta Flames, Boston Bruins, and Minnesota North Stars throughout 1980 and 1983. After hockey he has become a highly-respected motivational speaker, is the founder of Gold Medal Strategies, and is now on the board for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
