Blue Sky Sports & Entertainment Earns WBENC Certification

For 23 years, Blue Sky Sports & Entertainment has been a women-owned and women-led business. Today, we’re proud to add another milestone to that history: Blue Sky is officially a WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).

Founded in 2003 by Kim Zayotti, Blue Sky has grown through her leadership and long-standing relationships across sports and entertainment.

The certification, awarded through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), formally recognizes our women-owned business and creates new opportunities to connect with brands that prioritize supplier diversity.

While our certification is new, our experience in sports marketing is not. For more than two decades, we’ve built relationships across the sports and entertainment industries, connecting brands with talent and creating opportunities that bring partnerships to life.

Why Women-Owned Businesses Matter

Women-owned businesses represent 40.6% of all businesses in the United States—15.7 million businesses generating $2.8 trillion in revenue—according to the 2026 Wells Fargo Impact of Women-Owned Businesses report.

Despite their significant economic impact, women-owned businesses continue to face barriers to funding and business opportunities. Companies that actively seek out women-owned suppliers can help expand those opportunities while building relationships with businesses that bring valuable expertise and different perspectives.

For brands with supplier diversity initiatives, working with certified women-owned businesses can also be an important part of their broader purchasing strategy.

What This Means for Blue Sky and Our Brand Partners

For 23 years, we’ve built relationships with athletes, Hall of Famers, broadcasters, media personalities, and sports executives, helping brands find the right talent for their marketing goals.

From athlete partnerships and corporate appearances to speaking engagements and autograph signings, we work with brands to develop opportunities that fit their needs. Our WBENC certification adds another way for companies to work with Blue Sky while supporting their supplier diversity objectives, where applicable.

We’re proud of the business we’ve built and excited about the new connections this milestone may bring.

Looking Ahead

We’re excited to build new relationships through the WBENC network and connect with brands looking for experienced partners in sports and entertainment marketing.

If your company is exploring supplier diversity opportunities or looking to incorporate athletes and sports talent into your marketing, we’d welcome the conversation.
